Face Data Storage Duration
We stored customers’ face data as long as they choose to use SmartQR. When a customer's account is terminated, their face data will be removed from the active database after 30 days from the termination date. We will give customers a prior notice via email before the permanent deletion of their database. Complete back up will be deleted after 7 days from the active database deletion.
Face Data Collection and Use
Our app uses face data for attendance verification purposes. When you scan your face, the image is securely transmitted to AWS Recognition for processing. Additionally, we store face data to facilitate attendance tracking and auditing purposes.
Third-Party Involvement

AWS Recognition's practices:
AWS processes face data securely and complies with industry standards for data protection. AWS Recognition does not retain the data after processing is complete.
